We have farmed this section of land for 42 plus years having been blessed to be able to buy it from an older couple who had no family of their own. We originally farmed conventionally and grew pedigreed seed and had a small cow/calf operation plus up to 100 pigs and countless chickens. We also built and began operating a seed cleaning plant in 1980 which was well supported by farmers around the area and the province and continues on a smaller scale today. In 1988 we sold the cattle and other animals and that was the last year we sprayed. We transitioned all of the land into organic and we were certified in 2001 starting with OCIA then COCC then QMI and now Procert. Continuing with organic pedigreed seed sales has been and niche we really appreciate and also on the retail side, the farmer’s market, organic stores and trade shows, etc. We are grateful for all of the support from many people even though there is opposition too. We believe God has placed us here to bless others and we look forward to our family farming for many years to come as we gradually step back but are their actively to help.

All our products are certified organic and are grown on our farm. We clean and store product on our farm and package it in a CFIA approved facility. We are organically certified with ProCert. Grains are cleaned only. Grinding of splentil ingredients is done in CFIA approved facility.
